Proper lifeboat equipment is essential and can make the difference between life and death in crisis situations. All lifeboats provided by Euro Offshore BV are delivered with a full set of lifeboat equipment in accordance with LSA regulation. Besides all of the standard lifeboat equipment such as a buoyant lifeline, drain plug and safety belts, the lifeboats of Euro Offshore BV are also equipped with a whole array of electrical equipment.

Electrical lifeboat equipment

If a calamity occurs it’s not enough to have a lifeboat with just standard equipment. People will also need to be able to make contact, see where they are and more importantly, where they are going. To that end, the electrical lifeboat equipment as provided by Euro Offshore BV consists of:

Two separate batteries for power;
Hand held searchlights;
Compass with compass light;
Canopy and marking light;
Sart-Eprip
Heating system
42V type charger.

All of this lifeboat equipment comes on top of the standard equipment and an air supply system for life support in the totally enclosed version. The tanker version of this is even being delivered with a water-spraying system to sprinkle the lifeboat with water. All of this makes sure that all of the lifeboats and the lifeboat equipment is up to the highest standards and meets all SOLAS regulations.
